If you have 3 groups of 8 flies,				how many flies do you have?
3 x 8 =		11     27     38

If you have 4 groups of 8 flies,					how many flies do you have?
4 x 8 =		48     21     32

If you have 5 groups of 8 flies,						how many flies do you have?
5 x 8 =		40     31     58
